1. Gideon Putnam Burying Grounds Marker
Inscription. Gideon Putnam (1763-1812) early settler and founding father. Developed Saratoga from wilderness to famous spa. Putnam donated this land and was the first to be buried here. The stone wall surrounds the Putnam family plot. National Register of Historic Places
