Inscription.  
Titusville residents Joseph Pew and E.O. Emerson organized the Sun Oil Company in March 1890.

Based in Pennsylvania, Sun Oil was operated by the Pew family who became giants in refining and shipbuilding. The company went public in 1922 and was nicknamed Sunoco.

Sunoco produced, transported, stored, refined, shipped, and marketed petroleum throughout its history.

2004, Sunoco became the official fuel of NASCAR
