Long Leaf in Rapides Parish, Louisiana — The American South (West South Central)
"Loggers Dream"
This shop-built yarding outfit on a Ford F6 truck was a very adaptable logging aid. It traveled at truck speeds on the highways and was quick and easy to set up and take down.
It could pull logs from any direction up to 500 feet. It was used for heavy lifting and towing, and could stack and load logs onto trucks or railroad cars.
