Inscription.  Established 1916 by Peter G. Ten Eyck, Congressman and Commissioner of Agriculture, operated as a dairy and apple orchard.
 
Erected by New Scotland Historical Association.
 
Location. 42° 39.336′ N, 73° 58.411′ W. Marker is near Altamont, New York, in Albany County. Marker is on Altamont Road (New York State Route 156), on the left when traveling west. Touch for map.
