1. Indiana's Glacier Lakes Marker
Inscription. About 14,000 years ago melting blocks of ice from the last, or Wisconsin Glacier, formed the kettle-hole lakes of northern Indiana. The largest lake, Wawasee, and the deepest lake, Tippecanoe, are in Kosciusko County.
 
Erected 1966 by Indiana Sesquicentennial Commission. (Marker Number 43.1966.1.)
 
Marker series. This marker is included in the Indiana State Historical Bureau Markers marker series.
 
Location. 41° 14.34′ N, 85° 51.358′ W. Marker is in Warsaw, Indiana, in Kosciusko County. Marker is on East Main Street. Touch for map. It is on the north lawn of the County Courthouse. Marker is in this post office area: Warsaw IN 46580, United States of America.
