This plaque commemorates the rededication of this City Hall and Police Offices building on the 40th anniversary of the city's incorporation. Extensive upgrading and modernization have been accomplished to increase services tot the residents and business people of the City of Ione. Special thanks are given to all employees who worked on during the rigors and challenges of construction; Mule Creek State Prison Warden Ivalee Henry and Community Services Crew III who provided substantial skill and labor; and the many others who contributed significantly. Those involved today and in the future can be proud of this addition to our community.
