was salvaged from one of the last
thatched houses in the village.
It was demolished in the year 2000.
Erected 2000 by Millenium Committee, Borris In Ossory Development, and F.A.S. Community Employment.
Location. 52° 56.341′ N, 7° 38.173′ W. Marker is in Borris In Ossory, Leinster, in County Laois. Marker is at the intersection of Main Street (National Road 7) and Rock Road, on the left when traveling east on Main Street. Touch for map. Fountain is about 100 feet north of the Church of Ireland.
