Inscription. This beautiful highway was made possible by his sincere interest and unceasing efforts. It is dedicated to him and shall be known as
"Hitchcock Highway"

 
Location. 32° 22.067′ N, 110° 42.951′ W. Marker is near Tucson, Arizona, in Pima County. Marker can be reached from Hitchcock Highway (at milepost 14). Touch for map. Marker is on the west face of Hitchcock Pinnacle. To reach marker, park at the Windy Point Vista and follow the path from the southeast corner of the parking area towards the pinnacle about 50 feet. Watch for loose scree. Marker is in this post office area: Tucson AZ 85749, United States of America.

2. Honorable Frank Harris Hitchcock Marker
The Hitchcock Highway more commonly known as Calalina Highway or Mount Lemmon Highway runs up the Santa Catalina Mountains from the east side of Tucson up to Summerhaven, at the top of Mt. Lemmon. The beautiful, curving road is a favorite drive for tourists, for locals escaping summer's heat, for motorcyclists, and cyclists, and has been recently designated as the Sky Island Parkway, part of the US National Scenic Byway System.
