1. 11th Iowa Infantry Marker
The regiment's commander, Lieutenant Colonel William Hall, was wounded at the battle.
Inscription.  
U.S.
11th Iowa Infantry,
Hare's (1st) Brig., McClernand's (1st) Div.,
Army of the Tennessee.

This regiment occupied this position in the Sunday afternoon line April 6, 1862 and on Monday was engaged on Hurlbut's Left.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 4.)
 
Location. 35° 9.033′ N, 88° 19.419′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Pittsburg Landing Road, on the right when traveling east.
