Dr. Temin's fundamental discoveries on the replication and evolution of viruses changed our understanding of the flow of genetic information in cells, with profound implications for research on cancer and AIDS and for biotechnology.

Throughout the seasons, throughout the years, Dr. Temin walked and biked on this path, appreciating its beauty and finding enrichment in its setting and wildlife.

Touch for map. The Howard Temin Lakeshore Path may be reached via the access road to the Limnology Building which begins at the end of North Park Street. The marker is just past the Limnology
