Williams' (1st) Brig., Hurlbut's (4th) Div.,
Army of the Tennessee.
This regiment was engaged here at 4 P.M. April 6, 1862 and then fell back to siege guns.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 140.)
 
Location. 35° 8.068′ N, 88° 19.907′ W. Marker is in Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Hamburg-Savannah Road half a mile north of Hamburg-Purdy Road, on the left when traveling north.
