Hare's (1st) Brig., McClernand's (1st) Div., Army of the Tennessee.
At 4.30 p.m. April 6, 1862 this regiment was engaged here supporting McAllister's battery.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 13.)
 
Location. 35° 8.78′ N, 88° 19.986′ W. Marker is in Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Hamburg-Savannah Road 0 miles north of Cavalry Road, on the left when traveling north.
