1. Rockawalkin School circa 1872 Marker
Inscription. One-room schoolhouse built for the community of Rockawalkin. It held grades 1 through 7. Later 1 through 5. Located on northeast corner of Maryland Route 349 and Rockawalkin road, it was abandoned as a school in 1939. Moved to this location, 1973.
 
Erected by Wicomico County Historical Society and Maryland Historical Society.
 
Location. 38° 21.874′ N, 75° 37.296′ W. Marker is in Salisbury, Maryland, in Wicomico County. Marker is at the intersection of Pemberton Road and Ellegood Street, on the left when traveling west on Pemberton Road. Touch for map.
