The regiment was engaged with Sherman on Monday.

Location. 35° 9.095′ N, 88° 20.15′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Hamburg-Savannah Road ¼ mile south of State Highway 22, on the right when traveling south.
