This regiment was detailed by Brigadier General James A. Garfield at Savannah, Tennessee, to guard and bring up the Brigade train and also the Division supply train and was not engaged at Shiloh.

Location. 35° 9.037′ N, 88° 19.484′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Pittsburg Landing Road, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map.
