(back) This regiment arrived on the field about midnight. Monday morning, April 7, 1862, it advanced to this position where it was engaged about 10 a.m. Its loss was 1 officer (Major T. D. Edwards) and 3 men killed; 1 officer and 43 men wounded; 7 men missing; total, 55.
