1. Cooks Ferry Marker
Inscription. Established in 1859 by George Washington Cook. Operated by the Cook family until 1918. Then sold to the Flemings. Bought by Christy and Morrow in 1919. Known as Shippingport Ferry until (last trip April 1964), bridge built across Ohio River.
 
Erected by Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation.
