1. Bradford's Landing Marker
Inscription. Hiram S. and Miles Bradford inaugurated this landing in 1824. Together with Brownsville Landing, 10 miles upriver, it was a river terminal for the first settlers and commerce in this area. Hiram Bradford established the first cotton gin and store in Brownsville.
