Passed his school-boy days in Mercersburg, became a lawyer, member of legislature and of Congress, Minister to Russia, member of the United States Senate, Secretary of State, Minister to Great Britian and fifteenth President of the United States. His personal integrity and honorable career are worthy the emulation of all true Americans.
