1. Loyalhanning Marker
Inscription. Indian village settled by the Delaware soon after their departure from the Susquehanna area in 1727, was located here. The name refers to "middle stream".
 
Erected 1946 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 14.224′ N, 79° 13.84′ W. Marker is in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, in Westmoreland County. Marker is at the intersection of Lincoln Highway (U.S. 30) and East Main Street on Lincoln Highway. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Ligonier PA 15658, United States of America.
