Inscription.  A showman whose genuine love and understanding of people endeared him to the hearts of young and old alike. By his personal warmth, imagination, and drive, he built the Danbury State Fair into a nationally known attraction.
 
Erected by Fair Concessionaires, The S.N.Y.R.A., and Many Friends.
