1. I am the contest winner and designer of the Orchard Park Historical Sesquincentennial marker image
Hi, My name is Cathleen Van Bergen, my maiden name was Cathleen Baach. I was a student at Orchard Park Senior High School in 1971, graduated in 1975.There was a contest in 1971 sponsored by the Orchard Park Historical Society to design a sesquicentennial image for a historical marker for the site of the Erie County Agricultural Fair .

I was very honored to win this contest which was used on wooden nickels, plates and historical memorabilia. I have one of the plates displayed in my home art studio. Since I graduated in 1975, I have continued my love of art by receiving a BFA at Academy of Art in San Francisco, Ca. Also studied theatre arts at Buffalo Sate College. I have authored and illustrated a book entitled, “An Altar of Change.” I currently teach art classes for children and am represented
