1. Mobile City Limits Marker
Inscription. When Mobile was laid out, this was the city's north-east boundary point.
Royal Street ran along a bluff overlooking the Mobile River. There were no streets between Royal and the river, only marshland.
 
Erected by Christopher Branch Chapter, Colonial Dames XVII Century.
 
Location. 30° 41.64′ N, 88° 2.49′ W. Marker is in Mobile, Alabama, in Mobile County. Marker is at the intersection of North Royal Street and St Michael Street, on the right when traveling north on North Royal Street. Touch for map.
