Erected 1939 by Historical Landmark Commission of Wyoming.
 
Location. 42° 30.369′ N, 110° 54.489′ W. Marker is near Smoot, Wyoming, in Lincoln County. Marker is on U.S. 89. Touch for map. The marker is located at the summit of Salt River Pass on U.S. Highway 89, south of Smoot, Wyoming. Marker is in this post office area: Smoot WY 83126, United States of America.
