1. The Hay Schooner Carlotta Marker
Carlotta may be a misspelling, Bernardo's wife's name was Charlotta.
Inscription. One of a fleet of ships owned by Bernardo Fernandez and used to transport grain around the bay. Sank - Early 1900s. Uncovered and Raised - May 15, 1976.
 
Erected by Pinole Historical Society.
 
Location. 38° 0.711′ N, 122° 17.743′ W. Marker is in Pinole, California, in Contra Costa County. Marker is at the intersection of Tennent Avenue and Railroad Avenue, on the left when traveling west on Tennent Avenue. Touch for map.
