Inscription. You take off to the left of the valey [sic] (Summit Valley) Travel over much bad road The rock is all through the wood looking like waggons [sic] white cows and sheep

2. Truckee Trail - Through Boulder Field Marker
September of 2014, we were driving a high clearance vehicle with four-wheel drive, but the road was dry and well graded and suitable for a low clearance vehicle.
