Regarding Miguel de Cervantes. Voyage to Parnassus is a satirical poem by Cervantes describing his fictional voyage to Parnassus in Greece (home of the muses), where the good poets defeat the bad poets in battle. The Adjunta, or attachment, to the poem is a prose coda to the piece in which a messenger presents to Cervantes a letter from Apollo himself, dated July 22, 1614, in which Apollo shares his thoughts on the matter and makes recommendations.
