1. Dr. Eleanor Young Love Marker
Inscription. Scholar and educator, Dr. Love became the first black librarian at the University of Kentucky in 1955 and, a decade later, became the first director of Project Upward Bound and an assistant dean at the University of Louisville. A faculty member in the School of Education, Dr. Love also chaired the Black Faculty and Staff Association in the late 1970s.
