Inscription.

Built on Queen's Island as a tender ship for the White Star Line, SS Nomadic is most famous for the part she played in the Titanic story.

Based in Cherbourg, France, Nomadic transferred passengers from the quayside to enormous passenger liners waiting outside the harbour, including Titanic when she called to the port before her catastrophic maiden voyage.

This was only the beginning of Nomadic's extraordinary career. You can find out more about her remarkable one-hundred-year story on board.
