According to the description information provided by the National Park Service, the monument is, “38' high and 8' square at the base, the monument consists of a 2-step base, pedestal and shaft of Quincy granite, topped by a Maine granite sculpture of a Union soldier holding a flag. Located at the Orchard Knob Reservation.”
