1. Ram Albemarle Marker
Inscription. Confederate ironclad, winner of notable victories under Capt. J. W. Cooke, was sunk 600 feet north, night of Oct. 27, 1864.
 
Erected 1938 by Department of Conservation and Development. (Marker Number B-10.)
