Inscription. Running from Mahwah to Bound Brook, the Watchung Ridge served as a natural barrier to protect George Washington and his troops. "The Bulwark that Saved a Nation" helped to keep the American supply lines open.

Erected 2013 by Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
