Inscription. A Dutch stone farmhouse built circa 1730 by Fredericks family. One of the first families to settle in this region. Their descendants lived and farmed here through early twentieth century.
 
Erected 1994 by Morris County Heritage Commission, National Register of Historic Places, New Jersey Register of Historic Places.
