Regarding Juan José Ortega. Juan José Ortega was an eminent Guatemalan doctor, director of the Guatemala City General Hospital for many years. He is remembered as one of the first to experiment with X-rays in Guatemala, not long after Roentgen's initial discovery in 1895.
