After crossing the Chickamauga Creek early in the morning at Dalton’s Ford, the battery followed in rear of the brigade ready at all times to come into action. The ground not being favorable the battery was not engaged until about 3:30 P.M., when the battery opened from this position on the enemy, firing only a few rounds. It was not engaged on the 20th. No casualties reported.
