Regarding Francisco I. Madero. The date of the marker, November 20, is interesting in that it is the date of Madero's "Plan de San Luis", which in 1910 called for armed revolution against the Porfirio government of Mexico. This is one of the first dates that is considered to mark the beginning of the Mexican Revolution.
