9th Kentucky, - Colonel George H. Cram.
17th Kentucky, - Colonel Alexander M. Stoutt.
19th Ohio, - Lieutenant Colonel Henry G. Stratton.
26th Pennsylvania Battery, - Captain Allison J. Stevens - Lieutenant S.M. McDowell.
About 9 a.m. the Brigade was ordered from its position on the ridge west of the Dyer house to the front line west of Brotherton's. Arriving in rear of Wood's Division the Brigade was ordered to the left to the support of General Thomas. In executing this order about 11:15 a.m. its right was uncovered by the withdrawal of Wood's Division and the right of Brannon was driven in confusion by the enemy diagonally across the line of the Brigade throwing it into disorder and causing it to retreat toward Snodgrass Hill. Officers and men of all the regiments of the Brigade rallied at that point and fought until the close of the battle. Strength in action, 1384 officers and men. Casualties: killed 16 wounded 254 missing 81 total 331 percentage of loss 23.92.
