Hardee was in temporary command of units of Hoods A.C. (Hindmans div.) together with his own corps at various places. This sector was the rt. of the Confederate line across Crow Valley, from Rocky Face Ridge on the W. to Potato Hill (Picket Top) and Aults Gap on the E.
