Inscription.

St. Andrew's was the first Presbyterian congregation in Carleton County and was served primarily by itinerant preachers until the 1840's. A wooden church was constructed on this site in 1847 and replaced by the present brick church and spire in 1884. The church has several Gothic Revival features: its arched windows, its entrance, and its three-bay facade. Over the years it has continued to be a hub of religious and social activity for Presbyterians in the village and surrounding farms.
