The Citizens of Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties extend heartfelt welcome to the United States Army and to the men and women of Fort Drum. This standard, which flies our nation's flag, and the time capsule beneath this marker are dedicated to each of you who serve in our nation's defense.
 
Erected 1990 by Fort Drum Steering Council.
