1. Who Sculpted the Soldier?
My great-grandfather carved the plinth on which the soldier stands. He may have carved the soldier but I cannot find any information about it. If anyone has information about the statue's origin, especially from newspapers, contracts, commissions, or church records, it will be appreciated. In addition, because the face and other features have dissolved, clear pictures of its original appearance will greatly aid in restoring it. Thank you.
—If you have any information, please let an editor know and it will be forwarded to Mr. Repp.
