More about this marker. This memorial plaque is very inconspicuous where it resides at the east entrance to the State Capitol building but does contrast well over the white granite finish. Accompanying this memorial plaque are some wonderful relief art panels made of what looks like steel and represents many of the facets of social and cultural evolution such as technology, medicine, agriculture, etc.
