1. Cemetery Marker
Inscription.
This cemetery is a reproduction created as an example of early cemeteries. Each gravesite features wrought-iron or stone markers that once belonged to lost or flooded cemeteries.

The iron crosses are typical of Spanish-French influences. The cast iron and sheet metal entrance gate is from St. Michael's Cemetery in Convent, LA. This also serves as the gravesite of four members of the Burden family.
