Location. 18° 28.618′ N, 69° 53.02′ W. Marker is in Ciudad Colonial, Distrito Nacional, in Santo Domingo. Marker can be reached from Calle Emiliano Tejera just east of Calle Isabela Católica, on the left when traveling east. The house and marker are on the western side of the Plaza de la Hispanidad, one of many restaurants facing the plaza. This residence is one of the oldest houses in Santo Domingo, and also in the Americas. Touch for map. 2. 1505 Colonial House Marker
The marker can be seen to the right of the entrance to the house, now the Pat'e Palo Restaurant (Wooden Leg Restaurant). It is one of the oldest houses in Santo Domingo and, therefore, in the Americas.
