Lieut. Thomas B. Catron.
One section under Sergt. William A. Fisher, served one six pounder gun in this lunette from about May 23, to the end of the defense, July 4, 1863. Casualties in battery during the campaign and defense, killed 4, wounded 5, captured 5, total 14; Lt. John McCarty killed June 2, but the casualty not reported, Capt. Schuyler Lowe severely wounded June 2.
