July 1 In position on hill near Fairfield Road west of Willoughby Run. Not engaged though under fire and losing one man killed.
July 2 In position here and actively engaged under heavy fire of sharpshooters and artillery.
July 3 Remained in this position and was actively engaged.
July 4 Withdrew at evening to Marsh Creek on Fairfield Road.
Losses not reported in detail.

2. Johnson's Virginia Battery Tablet
The tablet stands behind a stone wall, roughly 30 yards west of Confederate Avenue. Some sources place the battery's position further to the north, close to the Schultz House. McIntosh's Battalion maintained firing positions throughout the second and third day of battle along this stone wall.
