1. Fort Kilmachronan Marker
Inscription. The stone house, a half mile south, was an important neighborhood fort. Built in 1776 near the site of an old Indian town.

It is at the intersection of Lee Highway (U.S. 11) and Fleet Road (County Route 751), on the right when traveling north on Lee Highway. Marker is located just off Exit 32 on I-81 in a field between Lee Hwy and the exit ramp just across from the gas station. Touch for map.
