1. Joseph Carabelli Marker

Inscription. Sculptor, state legislator, founder of the Lake View Granite and Monumental Works in 1879. Called the "Father of Little Italy". He helped found the Alta House. While in the Ohio House of Representatives authored the bill making Columbus Day a legal holiday in 1910.
