1. Major General George P. Holm Marker
Inscription. In commemoration of Major General George P. Holm, who served his country with great distinction in the United States Army from 1938 to 1971. He fought in three wars: World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

After retirement, General Holm worked tirelessly for veterans and his fellow citizens. He was the driving force in creating the Utah State Veterans Memorial Park and Cemetery, the Utah State Veterans Nursing Home, and this park, which honors those who served in the Second World War.
