Aquí estuvo el Teatro Iturbide hasta 1910 cuando se construyó este edificio para alojar a la Cámara de Diputados. Desde 1987 es sede del poder legislativo Distrito Federal.

English translation:
Here was the Teatro Iturbide until 1910 when this building was constructed for the House of Representatives. Since 1987 it is also the seat of legislative power in the Federal District (now Mexico City).
